Terms of Service
By using the ORMA application, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Use of the App
ORMA is provided for personal, non-commercial use. You are responsible for the content you create and store within the app.
2. Data Ownership
You own all the data you enter into ORMA. Since the app is offline-first, your data remains on your device unless you choose to export an encrypted backup to your linked "Local Vault".
3. Medical Disclaimer
ORMA is not a medical device. It is designed for lifestyle organization, journaling, and personal reflection. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, including dementia, Alzheimer's, or other cognitive conditions. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice.
4. Responsibility for Backup & Encryption Passwords
Because ORMA stores data locally, we are not responsible for any data loss that occurs due to device failure, app deletion, or loss of access. We strongly recommend linking a **Local Vault** and enabling **Nightly Auto-Backup** regularly. If you choose to set a PIN or encrypt your backups with a password, you are solely responsible for remembering that password. We have no way to recover or reset passwords for your local data.
5. Premium Upgrades & Monetization
ORMA uses a "Freemium" model:
- Free Tier: You may create and store up to 50 entries (memories) at no cost.
- Premium Upgrade: A one-time purchase allows for an Infinite Timeline with unlimited entries and full access to all features. This is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
- Payments & Refunds: All payments are managed by Google Play. Refund requests must be submitted directly through the Google Play Store and are subject to Google’s refund policies.
6. Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the app at any time.
7. Limitation of Liability
ORMA is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. In no event shall we be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the app.
